Jaipur: 100 Days Celebration :)
Posted by insidepawan on September 18, 2005
This post is not what i really intended to be. But yaa, this blog is dedicated to some of the good and affectionate readers of mine, and on their heartfelt demand, i am writing some account of my Jaipur trip.
Need to mention, i had great time there. Fine weather, great company, and happy mood, a perfect trio to make the days unforgettable. I don’t wish a detailed summary, what i did, i ate, or i talked ??? Is that necessary ????
Anyways, this time the trip was a bit different than last time. Firstly, it was two days, as one day is too short
. And then it was four people. Her friend was also there with her beau.
The girl is sweet and i came to meet her. And i found her good. Witty and smart. The guy was also very cute and smart, from IITB. I found the pair equally goood ….. Best wishes to u both …..
Well, in the blog, i wish to mention about Salaam Namaste. Not the review but a few points.. We saw that in Rajmandir, chanced to get the tickets, though it was second day only. Rajmandir is perhaps the best movie theater, i came across. I have been to pretty good ones, at Ahmedabad, Kanpur, Lucknow etc. But i really found that rattling good. The interiors are fabulous, i was impressed
Few things are there that really impresses me on their first glance…. and its the theater.
I didn’t like the movie.
Well, it might be, i am not as such interested in movie and thats why didn’t understand, might be …. but i was expecting it to be something like HUM TUM, but its a kinda serious. You may always argue, thats my expectation problem and not the director’s ….:)
Well, as always Yash Chopra’s movies. The canvas is big with extremely modernised, dishy and full of picturesque scenes.
The movie goes well, except some of the scenes. It was nice duo of Saif-Preity. Arshad Varsi and Javed Jaffery were super goood. The songs ok, and concept modern, that of Live in relationship.
The main teaching of the movie is to fall in love is easy, but to stick to a committment isn’t. There are the things that everyone knows, but the movie shows them in such a way that it scars you. Is that really so difficult ??? I don’t agree.
The movie has got some of the scenes of highly artificial fashion. The fight of Preity and Saif, their shouts. The way, they behaved is uncultured, awkward, fine … not a valid point to discard the movie yet i didn’t like … bas….
And the worst thing in the movie, that i found, its in the script is that Preity and Saif were made to love. They were planning to get separated, but because of some finance concerns, they couldn’t. What if they would have ??? Is it just all luck that made them to be together. And when they continued to live with each other, they developed love and marriage consent.
The movie as such is not bad. I enjoyed that lot, but with a little maturity it can be better. Why is it that hindi directors always wish to tough the things???
My question is not that difficult to answer: Because they can’t show a plain happy going happy everything to their viewers, noone will watch that……:D
Anyways, the jaipur was great time….. and as far as the title goes, it was since 100 days before, i proposed the girl and she accepted……:)

Blogsville”
I have been here for quite some time now, though my profile was rather low.
“I think it would be intersting to read u”..
. Ofcouse I know what you mean: read my blog.
It seems as if I am book which you can read at your leisure.
“Am I really sensible”
Does not the words you chose revealed all that already? Sensible sentences, appropriate words, and a good way of organising things.
